Observe stage

You are at the Observe stage. You can see what your agents do, but not whether it worked. The next move is to connect a real outcome, from a source the agent does not write.

This self-check scores your practice, not any particular product. Each of the five areas below maps to a stage of the Enterprise Confidence Model. Answer honestly for the workflow you would most want to trust, and read the next move rather than the total.

1 · Can you see the real outcome?

For a completed run, we can point to what actually happened afterward, from a source the agent does not write itself. When an outcome shows up later and in another system, it is connected back to the decision that caused it.

2 · Do you know what "done right" means?

There is a written definition of a successful run, agreed before the run, not inferred after it. That definition lists the separate conditions a good run must meet, rather than collapsing to one pass/fail.

3 · Can you produce evidence after the fact?

If a run were disputed months later, we could show why the agent acted the way it did. That record is durable and reviewable by someone who was not there, without rebuilding it by hand.

4 · Can you catch a failure that looks fine?

A run that passed every check but reached the wrong result would be caught, not counted as a success. We know our rate of confident-but-wrong runs, not just our rate of errors and crashes.

5 · Can you keep verifying as things change?

When the world shifts (a policy, the customer base, an upstream system), we re-check whether behavior that used to be good still holds. When we fix a failure, we verify the fix held on later runs, not just the one we were looking at. Verification is continuous, not a one-time review we did at launch.

The five areas are a ladder, not a menu. Seeing the outcome comes before defining what good means, which comes before proving it, which comes before keeping it proven. What this measures
